FLAHBACK ARRESTORS
The spring in the flashback arrestor does not allow the
backflow of gas by exerting continuous pressure. So it prevents mixing
in the hose and gaining an explosive property of gasses at low and high
pressures.
The flow pressure of gas releasesthe spring pressure exerted
on to the valve and so a continuous gas flow is ensured into the torch.
The special flame backfire guard in the flashback arrestor is made of
sintered chrome-nickel and retains the backflame from the torch.
Thermic valve in the 1030, 1130 and 1231 begins when the
flame goes into the valve and it extinguishes the flame by blocking
the gas flow completely.
Thermic Valve: It keeps the gas passage open by means
of a pin soldered in the bed under spring load. When the temperature
around the filer reaches 100?C, in case of a gas backfire, the solder
fuses and the pin blocks the gas flow by releasing it self from its
bed. From the moment on the backfire protection valve is no more useful.
