Application and Properties: |
Basic tubular cored
electrode used for hardfacing in submerged arc welding
together with OP 122 flux. Due to it's low carbon
content, weld metal is very tough and therefore
particularly resistant to shock and impact. Machining is
possible by using carbide-tipped cutting tools. A buffer
layer with FLUXOCORD 31 is required only in case of
crack sensitive base metal. Interpass temperatures up to
400°C do not notably affect hardness. Suitable for
caterpillar track jackwheels, bearing surfaces, conveyor
belt wheels and rolls, rollers,etc. |
