Application and Properties: |
Aluminium and iron
alloyed copper wire electrode for GMA (MIG) welding of
copper-aluminyum (Cu-Al) alloys (aluminium-bronzes) and
overlaying on aluminium bronzes, aluminium coated
steels, grey cast iron, ferritic and pearlitic steels in
machine building, chemical industry and shipbuilding.
Also used for joining of corrosion resistant aluminium
bronze pipes or special brass alloys, overlaying of ship
propellers, slide rails, slip ways, bearings. Due to
it's increased resistance to wear and abrasion, suitable
for surfacing of parts subjected to metal to metal wear
under high compressive stresses or in the presence of
corrosive agents (acids,sea water). |
