COPPER ALLOYS >>> CUFIL Al Fe
Information of Product
CUFIL Al Fe
Wire electrode for MAG-Welding Process
Standards: DIN 1733 SG Cu Al 10 Fe
AWS/ASME SFA-5.7 ER Cu Al - A2
M.No. 2.0937
Application and Properties:

Aluminium and iron alloyed copper wire electrode for GMA (MIG) welding of copper-aluminyum (Cu-Al) alloys (aluminium-bronzes) and overlaying on aluminium bronzes, aluminium coated steels, grey cast iron, ferritic and pearlitic steels in machine building, chemical industry and shipbuilding. Also used for joining of corrosion resistant aluminium bronze pipes or special brass alloys, overlaying of ship propellers, slide rails, slip ways, bearings. Due to it's increased resistance to wear and abrasion, suitable for surfacing of parts subjected to metal to metal wear under high compressive stresses or in the presence of corrosive agents (acids, sea water).
