Application and Properties: |
Rutile tubular cored
electrode with enhanced filling degree. Particularly
designed for shipbuilding applications, especially for
vertical up welding, even without waving the torch.
Suitable for welding metal constructions in single and
multipass technique. Due to it's easily contollable weld
pool, it exhibits outstanding welding properties. It can
be welded in all positions with setting the parameters
only once (for 1.2 mm, 24 volts, wire feeding speed 9
m/min) The enhanced filling degree results in increased
current carrying capacity and deposition rate, thus
essentially increasing welding speed and leading to a
saving of time and costs. Low spatter loss, easy slag
removal, smooth and finely rippled welds without
undercutting into the base metal. |
