Application and Properties: |
Austenitic stainless
steel wire electrode for MIG/MAG welding of high alloy
steels to unalloyed or low-alloy steels, subjected to
operating temperatures up to 300˚C. Suitable also for
depositing stress relaxing buffer layers on crack
sensitive base metals and hard surfacing jobs. Well
suited for joining difficult to weld steels like armour
plates. Weld metal has a high degree of corrosion
resistance. Non-scaling up to 850˚C. Observe preheating
temperature and avoid high admixture of base
metal. |
