Covered electrode for Welding Unalloyed and Low-alloy Steels
Basic Covering
Standards: EN 499 E 42 3 B 42 H10
DIN 1913 E 51 54 B 10
AWS/ASME SFA-5.1 E 7016
TS 563 E 51 54 B 26 (H)
Application and Properties:

Heavy coated basic electrode producing low tensile strenght weld metal with excellent toughness values. It is suitable for welding restrained structural members and large weld cross sections. Suitable for unalloyed and low alloy steels with high carbon content with low weldability. Also suitable for buffer layer applications before hardfacing and for welding of cast irons with high preheat.
