Information of Product
CROMOCORD-II
Covered electrode for Welding Creep Resistant Boiler and Pipe Steels as well as Cast Steels
Basic Covering
Standards: EN 1599 E Cr Mo 2 B 32 H10
DIN 8575 E Cr Mo 2 B 26
AWS/ASME SFA-5.5 E 9018 - B3
Application and Properties:

Basic type heavy coated electrode for welding creep resistant and high- pressure hydrogen resistant steels used in construction of pressure vessels, boiler and piping subjected to operating tempetarures up to 600°C. Owing to its double covering the electrode has a stable and concentrated arc, thus being well suited for root pass and positional welding. Welds are of X-ray quality. Preheating, interpass temperature and post-weld heat treatment should be done in accordance with base metal to be welded.
