Thyristor Controlled 400 Amp. Welding Rectifier
|
|
|
Properties
Excellent welding characteristics where DC
welding is required.
Easy and precise current adjustment.
Hot start control.
All weather, full environmental protection for
demanding applications
Fan-cooled and thermally protected against
overloading
Protected against phase failurs.
Line voltage flactuations are compansated for
better arc stability.
Compansation of voltage drops on long welding
cables.
Due to big wheels, it is easy to move across
the work area. | |

Applications : |
This unit is suitable for
welding all types of electrodes from 1.5mm upto 5.0 mm.
in diameter. Carbon gouging and cellulosic electrode
welding in low currents are not recomended with this
machine. Current adjustment is infinetly variable
through a potentiometer. Welding current can be adjusted
from a distance up to 20 meters. With an additional
installation this power source is perfect for DC TIG
welding. For shipyards it is possible to rack 6, 8 or 10
units together. Typical areas of use are shipbuilding,
steel constructions, boiler and pipe line
constructions. |
