Application and Properties: |
Rutile-basic coated
hardfacing electrode which deposits Co-Cr-W alloy weld
metal. Suitable to use in hardfacing of parts subjected
to either the single or combined effect of : heavy
metal-to-metal wear or abrasion, high temperatures
(ranging from 500˚C to 900˚C) and corrosive
environments. Due to its very high hardness the CITOSTEL
1 AP is recommmended for applications where shocks are
low or moderate. Suitable for rolling mill guides,
extrusion dies, valve seats, mechanical parts of steam
turbines, pump tubing and shafts and mixer blades.
Preferred to use with DC, electrode in negative (+) and
possible to use with also AC. |
