2 component cementitious rapid curing adhesive for ceramic tiles and natural stone.
Application Fields
Ceresit Rapid is used for all seramic tiles, marbles, granite and natural stone coverings both indoors and outdoors. Suitable for horizontal (floors) and vertical (walls) areas. Due to its rapid curing property it can be used for montage ( fixing), renovation and repair works. Especially at shopping centers, trade ways and projects, airports, hospitals and hotels, this adhesive is highly recommended.

Surface Preparation
Dust, oil, grease and all other particles which can cause separation should be removed from the surface. Concrete and screed shuld be dry and without any cracks. Gypsum based subfloors ( plaster,gypsum board, e.g ...) should be also dry, bearing and clean. Please ask for imformation about the primer that must be used according to the surface. The materials that have extraordinary vibration and deformation properties such as wooden boards, chip boards, cement based boards and metal and the marble surfacesthat are moisture sensetive, aren't appropiate surfaces for Ceramit Rapid . Thomsit P 625, two component polyrethane adhesive should be used for these surfaces.

Depending on the covering material thin or thick tooht.
Application
First put in a clean bowl 5.5 kg liquid component then add 25 kg powder component A on it. Mixing process should continue until all air bubbles disappear. After 4-5 min of maturing time, repeat the mixing process. During application the temp. must be +5 to +30 C Application time depends on the weather conditions(e.g high temp-wind shortens the appl. time) first use the smooth side of the getting a thin layer. In order to achieve good adherance a contact area of 75% between trowel and the surface is recommended. For getting a contact area press the stones on the surface . Afterwards knock with a plastic mallet on the coverings. Amount of usage depends on the surface preparation and the equipments. Thin Tooth 2.5-3 kg/m2 Thick Tooth 6-8 kg/m2. In case you exceed the expiration time of the product do not add water or component B on the powder (20 C and %50 relative humidity start with joint filling after 4 hours) Use Ceresit Cerement as joint filler. Fresh covered areas must be protected from rain and frost for 3-4 hours ; for 12 hours from UV-radiation.
Cleaning The Equipment
After application use water immadiately.
Shelf Life
Both of the components should be protected from sun light and moisture. Shelf life is 6 months in dry and closed places.
