Application Fields
Pattex Transparent is an universal adhesive for:
Technical Data
Viscosity ( mPas ) : ca.3500
Application temperature : From +18°C to 25°C
Temperature resistance : From -25°C to +70°C
Open time : 30 Min.
Minimum pressure : 0.5 N/mm2
Evaporation time : ca. 5 - 10 min.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be bonded should be dry, free of grease and dust. Laminated surfaces must be sanded.
Application
Using a spatula or a comb, apply an even coat of Pattex Transparent to both surfaces. Allow both surfaces to become tackfree. At a temperature of 20°C, this should take approx. 10 min. Before fixing the surfaces together, ensure that they are carefully aligned: Once the two films of adhesive have come into contact, their alignment can no longer be corrected.
Cleaning The Equipment
Use benzine to remove excess material.

12 months if stored in a cool, dry place (max. 20°C).
Important Notes
Pattex Transparent contains flammable solvents. (Working areas should be well ventilated with no smoking and no welding. There should be no naked lights, pilot lights, or fires, including those in furnaces. Electrical appliances, e.g., heating plates etc., must be fully cooled before starting work. (Sparking must be avoided.)
