Properties
Suitable for medium temperature brazing of steel, copper and their
alloys.
The combustible gas passing through the vaporizer is enriched
with deoxidizer which is then transferred by the flame on the workpiece
to be brazed.
Preperation and final cleaning of the brazed joint is unnecessary.
Vaporizer work with propane, acetylene or natural gas.
It can feed torches with an acetylene supply up to1500 lt/h.
Vaporizer consists of a pressed cylinder in stainless steel sheet
and a brass unit with numbered adjustment valves (n.1-2-3), suction
pipe(c), with internal non-return safety valve(v), and detachable
inlet (e)/ outlet(u) pipe-holders.
Maximum pressure of acetylene : 1 bar
Max. pressure of oxygen to the torch : 2.5 bar
Compulsary installation of a safety device against backfire between
the vaporizer and the welding torch.
Maximum capacity of liquid deoxidizer : 3.2 lt.

The equipment should be fitted to the acetylene
(or propane)piping between the pressure regulator and the torch, taking
care ensure the correct gas passage direction, which is indicated by an
arrow marked on the body of the valve. Provide the outlet connection with
a safety device against backfire C. Place the vaporizer in a ventilated
area, far away from heat sources and/or flashes. Filling is performed
through the special side filling point (f) with the cylinder in vertical
position. While filling, valves 1 and 3 should be closed to avoid gas
leaks. Refill with deoxidizer up to the hole's upper line, then screw
the cap tigthly. The supply of gas enriched with deoxidizer is obtained
by closing valve 3 and opening valves 1 and 2. By keeping valves 1 and
2 and opening valve 3 as required, it is possible to dose the amount of
deoxidizer supplied with the gas. Greener is the flame's color, larger
is the quantity of deoxidizer therein contained. By opening valve 3, you
will obtain gas supply only, without deoxidizer. To avoid internal deposits
dangerous for the vaporizer's life and efficiency, it becomes necessary
in case of long breaks, to close valve 1 and 3 and open the gas valve
on the torch allowing this way the residual vaporized liquid to exhaust,
then also valve 3 should be closed. Maintenance is necessary when the
vaporizer doesn't supply gas enriched with deoxidiser. In that case, unscrew
the valves assembly on the cylinder and clean the internal passages bu
means of alcohol or using the deoxidizer liquid itself. Replace the rubber
hose when it present internal deposits. Finally, check the internal (v)
and external (C) safety valves.
